The MEB Experience
Buying an electric bike can be a very confusing and daunting experience. There are many makes and models on the market and more than not really aren’t worth their “attractive” retail price. We believe that if you want an e-bike with decent components and one that will last you for years, the entry price point really shouldn’t be under $1500 (unless you find a legitimate e-bike on sale). At this price point, you should be able to find an e-bike that has branded components, decent battery power, aluminum frame, disc brakes and backed by a manufacturer's warranty that will actually assist if or when something should go wrong.
The manufacturers that Macarthur E-bikes currently partner with fit all of these important criteria which gives us the confidence that we are giving our customers a great e-bike purchasing experience and offering good value for money.
MEB offers test rides and advice to help you decide on which bike not only looks and feels good but also serves the purpose of what is required.
When a decision has been made to purchase an e-bike from MEB, there are a few things that you won’t get when purchasing that “Online Bargain”. A free build and set up and a thorough walkthrough on how everything works on your e-bike, but the most important thing is the fact that you have a contact and an address to go to if there is an issue for whatever reason.
So in summary, as the saying goes “If it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is”. If you are planning on buying a new electric bike for much under $1500, we would advise you to wait, save that little bit more, visit a shop (hopefully you choose Macarthur E-bikes), speak to someone for advice and it will serve you very well for your e-bike riding future.
